Lather, Rinse, Repeat

It must be the fact that my favorite Virgo is here now, but I've got another list for you. As we head to Abu Dhabi (my 90th country, Dad's 69th, and AT's 109th), I give you the top 10 things we do in every new country (in no particular order):

1. Figure out an easy-math currency conversion. (Will only be approximate) Ex: Oman = multiply by 2.5, India = take off some zeroes and multiply by 1.5, Japan = take off some zeroes and divide by 6, etc. (Also, there is an app for this.)

2. Ask for the hotel's wifi password

3. Text mom we made it

4. Tour a fort

5. Visit a church/temple/mosque/synagogue

6. Buy a scarf

7. Ask about local customs and traditions

8. Ask about women's rights in the country in a way that implies we respectfully disagree

9. Ask each other questions about the government, population, or average income that we obviously won't know the answer to and will have to google later

10. Spend way too long figuring out what day it is

Bonus 11th: Ask each other where we're going next
